canadianCUBING is pleased to announce the Atlantic Open, Special 2015 speedcubing competition. The competition will be held on July 4, 2015 at Boys and Girls Club of Dieppe, which is located at 76 Emmanuel Street, Dieppe, New Brunswick.

This is an official WCA event, and as such all official regulations will be followed. Please take some time to read them over before the day of the competition, especially if you have never competed before.

The cost to competitors that register online before our standard pricing model. You will pay $15 to compete in one event. Each additional event will cost $2 to a max of $25.

If you do not register online before the close of the registration period, you can still register the morning of the competition. The price at that time, however, is $20 for the first event, $2 per additional event with no maximum fee. So be sure to register online. You can edit your events using the link found in you the email sent to you after registering.

Cost for spectators at the competition is free of charge.

  • 3x3x3 Blindfolded
  • 4x4x4 Blindfolded
  • 3x3x3 Multiple Cube Blindfolded
  • 3x3x3 With Feet
  • Rubik's Clock

The top three placements will be recognized for their achievements, including certificates.

We post the schedule of events after registration closes as the duration of each event is affected by the number of competitors. The first FMC attempt (occurring prior to registration) will start at 8:15 AM sharp. Registration will open at 9:15 AM and the first event will start at 9:30 AM. Please be there early to help us get through registration to begin on time.

Hotdogs will be available for lunch for free from the organization team.

In addition, there will be a small canteen open selling things such as pop, juice, bars, candy, popcorn, and gum. There are also several fast-food options within a 5-minute driving distance.

There will be a pool party and BBQ at Stairs' house directly after the competition. In order to be part of this after-party, please contact us and let us know that you are coming and how many guests you are bringing.

The address of the after party is 37 Woodworth Street, Lower Coverdale, NB. It is about a 20 minute drive from the venue.

We are always looking for dedicated people to donate their time and efforts to these competitions. We need scramblers and judges for every round of every event. It is a great opportunity for parents, siblings, friends, or anyone that wants to come and be involved but does not want to compete yet. We will provide training the morning of the competition for those wishing to help out. It is not difficult, so don't be afraid!

For anyone that volunteers and helps out for an entire competition, we will act as a reference if you wish to put this on your resume or college application. We will also sign any high school volunteer hour sheets provided you work the entire competition. But you must arrange this with us before the competition.
