Bill Wang won the Battle of Waterloo 2014 competition with an average of 8.28 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. Thompson Clarke finished second averaging 9.42 seconds and Harris Chan finished third at 10.04 seconds.

Bill Wang won the National Capital Region 2014 competition with an average of 8.38 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. Eric Limeback finished second averaging 9.48 seconds and Thompson Clarke finished third at 10.04 seconds.

The Atlantic Open 2014 competition took place last weekend in Moncton, NB. Aaron McPhee won the competition with an average of 11.07 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. David Hoar finished second averaging 11.97 and Micah Stairs finished third with 15.21.

The Toronto Open Spring 2014 competition took place this past Saturday in Toronto. Eric Limeback won the competition with an average of 9.76 seconds. Antoine Cantin finished second with an average of 9.84 and Thompson Clarke finished third at 10.20.

Antoine Cantin set the World Record for 3x3 one-handed with an average of 12.56 during the first round. He also set the National Record for one-handed single solve in the same round at 10.63 seconds. He finished by setting the National Record for Skewb with an average of 7.07 seconds.

The Montréal Open 2014 competition took place on Saturday in Quebec. We had well over 60 competitors show up, with almost half being first time competitors.

Antoine Cantin won the competition with an average of 10.21 seconds in the final round of 3x3x3. Louis Cormier finished second at 10.85 and Emily Wang finished third averaging 11.23.

Louis Cormier set the NAR for Megaminx single at 43.84 seconds. Antoine Cantin set the NR for 3x3x3 average at 8.79 seconds. Julian David set the NR for Pyraminx single and average at 2.77 and 4.04 respectively. And finally, Emily Wang set the NR for 6x6x6 single and average with times of 2:02.41 and 2:06.37 respectively.

Congratulations to all record breakers and winners from the competition. Special thanks to the competitors that travelled far and wide to attend, and to those that jumped in and helped judge and scramble to make the day run smoother. The Vancouver Open Winter 2014 competition took place this past weekend in Vancouver, BC. Jacob Hutnyk won the competition with an average of 11.73 seconds. Ben Yu finished second (11.87) and Ibrahim Vajgel-Shedid finished third (12.67).

Jacob Hutnyk set the National Record for 4x4x4 average with a time of 33.60 seconds. Kristopher De Asis set the single and average for Skewb at 5.06 and 7.67, respectively.
